Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger, and 2 cloves minced garlic.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in a shallow dish. Pour half of the marinade over the salmon, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the used marinade. Place the salmon on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- While the salmon is grilling, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the glaze has thickened slightly.
- Once the salmon is cooked, transfer it to a serving platter. Drizzle the glaze over the salmon and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
- Serve the sesame ginger glazed salmon immediately and enjoy!
