Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons grated ginger, and 3 cloves minced garlic.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry. Set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Pour the remaining marinade into the skillet and add the cornstarch slurry. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the chicken. Serve the chicken with steamed rice or vegetables. Enjoy!
