Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons grated ginger, and 3 cloves minced garlic.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  • In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry. Set aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  • Pour the remaining marinade into the skillet and add the cornstarch slurry. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  • Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the chicken. Serve the chicken with steamed rice or vegetables. Enjoy!
