Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together the cheddar, mozzarella, pepper jack, Swiss, and Gouda cheeses.
  • Place 2 slices of bread on a clean surface and divide the cheese mixture evenly between the two slices.
  • Layer the avocado slices on top of the cheese mixture, dividing them evenly between the two slices of bread.
  • Top each sandwich with the remaining 2 slices of bread.
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Carefully place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet when flipping the sandwiches to cook the second side.
