Ingredients
- 2 cans of young green jackfruit in brine, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil

- 3 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1 cup of vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce
- 4 hamburger buns

- 2 cups of shredded cabbage
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/4 cup of vegan mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.

- Stir in the barbecue sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, vegan mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and maple syrup. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix well to combine.
