Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 pretzel buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of tomato
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1/2 cup sliced pickles
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together 1 pound of ground beef, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, slice the pretzel buns in half and toast them on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt for 1 minute.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, and 1 tablespoon of ketchup to make the sauce.
- To assemble the burgers, spread the sauce on the bottom half of each pretzel bun. Top with a lettuce leaf, a cooked patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, and a few slices of pickles. Place the top half of the pretzel bun on top.
- Serve the pretzel burgers immediately and enjoy!
