Ingredients
- 4 slices of white bread
- 2 slices of Swiss cheese
- 2 slices of ham
- 2 slices of turkey
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Raspberry jam for dipping
Instructions
- Place 1 slice of Swiss cheese, 1 slice of ham, and 1 slice of turkey on 2 slices of white bread. Top with the remaining 2 slices of bread to make 2 sandwiches.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together 2 eggs, 1/4 cup of milk, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and dust with powdered sugar.
