Tropical

The Mai Tai is a classic tropical cocktail with a rich history. Created in the 1940s by Victor J. "Trader Vic" Bergeron, it is said to have been inspired by the flavors of Polynesia. This iconic drink gained popularity at Trader Vic's restaurant in Oakland, California, and has since become a staple in tiki bars worldwide. The key to a perfect Mai Tai lies in the balance of rum, orgeat syrup, orange curaçao, and fresh lime juice. For the best Mai Tai experience, visit tiki bars in Hawaii, where the drink is often served with a colorful umbrella and a slice of pineapple, transporting you to a tropical paradise with every sip.
