Lemon Pepper Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of lemon pepper seasoning, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Season both sides of the 4 chicken breasts with the lemon pepper mixture.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in 1/4 cup of chicken broth and the juice of 1 lemon, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and the chicken to absorb the flavors.
- Garnish with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve the lemon pepper chicken hot with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
