  • Place the whole chicken in a roasting pan and pat it dry with paper towels.
  • Carefully loosen the skin of the chicken and rub half of the marinade under the skin, making sure to evenly distribute it over the breast and thigh meat.
  • Rub the remaining marinade over the outside of the chicken, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  • Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, basting with the pan juices every 15 minutes.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the honey over low heat until it becomes thin and runny.
