  • 8 oz of pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the asparagus, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender-crisp.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. Enjoy!
