Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and form them into large patties.
  • Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the vegetable oil and fry the eggs to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and ketchup to make the sauce.
  • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes, until lightly browned.
