Honey Garlic Glazed Chicken Thighs
Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 4 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Place the chicken thighs in a large bowl and pour half of the honey garlic mixture over them, tossing to coat evenly.
- Arrange the chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, skin side up. Discard any remaining marinade from the bowl.
- Bake the chicken thighs in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy and golden brown.
- While the chicken is baking, pour the remaining honey garlic mixture into a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens slightly.
- Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and brush the glaze over the chicken thighs. Return the chicken to the oven and broil for 2-3 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized and bubbly.
- Transfer the glazed chicken thighs to a serving platter, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve hot. Enjoy!
