Instructions

  • In a shallow dish, marinate the chicken breasts in 1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the grill with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  • Season the marinated chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  • During the last few minutes of grilling, place a slice of pineapple and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast to melt the cheese.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly golden.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on each bun, then place the grilled chicken breast on the bottom half of the bun.
  • Top with lettuce and tomato, then cover with the top half of the bun.
