Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 lb ground chicken, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce, 1/4 cup crushed pineapple, 1/4 cup red onion, 1/4 cup bell pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
  • Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Grill the chicken patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  • During the last few minutes of grilling, place a slice of pineapple and a slice of red onion on top of each patty, and top with a slice of Swiss cheese to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
