Ham Salad Sandwich

Ingredients
- 2 cups of cooked ham, diced
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup of celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup of red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 8 slices of bread
- Lettuce leaves (optional)
- Tomato slices (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of cooked ham, 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, 1/4 cup of celery, 1/4 cup of red onion, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Toast the 8 slices of bread if desired.
- Divide the ham salad mixture evenly onto 4 slices of bread. If using, add lettuce leaves and tomato slices on top of the ham salad.
- Top with the remaining 4 slices of bread to form sandwiches.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
