Ingredients
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of gouda cheese
- 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Preheat a panini press or a grill pan over medium heat.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard on each of 2 slices of sourdough bread.
- Layer 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of gouda cheese on top of the mustard.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the remaining 2 slices of sourdough bread, then place them on top of the cheese to form 2 sandwiches.
- Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the top of each sandwich.
- Place the sandwiches in the panini press or grill pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Carefully remove the sandwiches from the press or pan, slice in half, and serve hot.
