  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of gouda cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

  • Preheat a panini press or a grill pan over medium heat.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard on each of 2 slices of sourdough bread.
  • Layer 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of gouda cheese on top of the mustard.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the remaining 2 slices of sourdough bread, then place them on top of the cheese to form 2 sandwiches.
  • Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on the top of each sandwich.
  • Place the sandwiches in the panini press or grill pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Carefully remove the sandwiches from the press or pan, slice in half, and serve hot.
