Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of cheese (such as cheddar or Swiss)
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Preheat a panini press or a skillet over medium heat.
- Assemble the sandwiches by placing 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese on 2 slices of bread. Top each with avocado slices and the remaining 2 slices of bread.
- Spread butter on the outsides of the sandwiches.
- Place the sandwiches in the panini press or skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Carefully remove the sandwiches from the press or skillet and let them cool for a minute before slicing in half.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
