Ingredients
- 2 New York strip steaks, 1 inch thick
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to high heat.
- Brush both sides of the New York strip steaks with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and season with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder.
- Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the steaks and sprinkle with the remaining salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder before serving.
