Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of cooked bacon
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each of 2 slices of bread.
- Top the cheese with 2 slices of cooked bacon and tomato slices.
- Place another slice of cheddar cheese on top of the tomato slices and cover with the remaining 2 slices of bread to form 2 sandwiches.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Spread the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter on the top side of each sandwich.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.
