Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of cooked bacon
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese on 2 slices of bread, then add 2 slices of cooked bacon on top of the cheese. Top with the remaining slices of cheddar cheese and bread to form 2 sandwiches.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches, buttered side down, in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt.
- Spread the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter on the top side of each sandwich, then carefully flip the sandwiches over with a spatula.
- Continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the second side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool for a minute before slicing in half. Serve and enjoy!
