Ingredients
- 4 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of mixed nuts (such as almonds, pecans, and walnuts)
- 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Peel the bananas and slice them in half lengthwise.
- In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of butter over medium heat. Stir in 1/4 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon until the sugar is dissolved.
- Place the banana halves on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until grill marks appear.
- While the bananas are grilling, add 1/2 cup of mixed nuts to the butter and sugar mixture in the saucepan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the nuts are caramelized.
