Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  • Leaving the skin on, slice each banana lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through.
  • Place each banana on a piece of aluminum foil large enough to wrap the banana.
  • Stuff each banana with 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons of mini marshmallows, and 1 tablespoon of chopped nuts if using.
  • Wrap the bananas in the foil, making sure they are completely sealed.
  • Place the foil-wrapped bananas on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the bananas are soft and the fillings are melted.
  • Carefully remove the banana boats from the grill and let them cool for a few minutes before unwrapping.
  • Serve the grilled banana boats as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Enjoy!
