- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 lemons, juiced and zested

- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 1/4 cup olive oil, the juice and zest of 2 lemons, 3 cloves minced garlic, 2 tablespoons chopped basil, 1 tablespoon chopped rosemary, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish, and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 4 hours, turning the chicken occasionally to ensure even marinating.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the juices run clear. Baste the chicken with the remaining marinade during grilling.
