Frogmore Stew

Ingredients
- 2 pounds of large shrimp, unpeeled
- 1 pound of smoked sausage, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 6 ears of corn, shucked and cut into thirds
- 2 pounds of small red potatoes
- 1/4 cup of Old Bay seasoning
- 2 lemons, halved
- 6 quarts of water
- 1/2 cup of butter
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring 6 quarts of water to a boil.
- Add the Old Bay seasoning and potatoes to the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the sausage and corn to the pot and continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through.
- Drain the water from the pot and transfer the contents to a large serving platter.
- Squeeze the lemon halves over the stew and dot with butter.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
