- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine 1/2 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Dredge the elk cube steaks in the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the coated elk cube steaks to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Pour in 1 cup of beef broth and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let the steaks simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until tender.
