Ingredients
- 4 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Leaving the peel on, slice each banana lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through.
- Gently open the banana and place it on a piece of aluminum foil.
- Fill each banana with 2 tablespoons of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of white chocolate chips. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
- Wrap the bananas in the foil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the chocolate is melted and the bananas are soft.
- Carefully open the foil and let the banana boats cool for a few minutes before serving.
