  • In a large bowl, beat 3 packages of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth. Beat in 4 eggs one at a time. Blend in 1/2 cup of sour cream. Fold in 1/2 cup of melted semisweet chocolate chips. Pour filling over crust in the springform pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until the center is set. Allow to cool before removing the sides of the pan. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
