Instructions

  • Peel the bananas and cut them in half crosswise. Insert a popsicle stick into each banana half and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for at least 1 hour.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 8 ounces of dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
  • Dip each frozen banana half into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to help coat them evenly. Place them back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Drizzle the dipped bananas with 1/4 cup of caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
  • Return the bananas to the freezer for 10-15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
