Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of water, and 1/4 cup of corn syrup. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  • In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of cotton candy flavored soda, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Stir in the cooled sugar syrup.
  • Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, filling each mold about 3/4 full. Drop a few pieces of chopped sour candy into each mold, using a popsicle stick to push them down into the liquid.
  • Insert popsicle sticks into the molds and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely frozen.
  • To remove the popsicles from the molds, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds and gently pull the popsicles out. Enjoy the sour cotton candy popsicles with a fun surprise inside!
