Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 lollipop sticks
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- Assorted sprinkles and decorations
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup of softened butter and 3/4 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and insert a lollipop stick into each ball.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let the cookie pops cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once the cookie pops are completely cooled, melt 1 cup of white chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double boiler. Dip each cookie pop into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off, then decorate with assorted sprinkles and decorations.
- Place the decorated cookie pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow the chocolate to set before serving. Enjoy these festive Christmas treats!
