Created by: Howcan Team

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of crushed nuts (such as almonds, peanuts, or walnuts)
  • 8 wooden popsicle sticks

Instructions

  • Peel the bananas and cut them in half crosswise. Insert a wooden popsicle stick into each banana half. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
  • Place 1/2 cup of crushed nuts in a shallow dish.
  • Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer. Working quickly, dip each banana half into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off. Immediately roll the chocolate-covered banana in the crushed nuts, coating it evenly. Place it back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining banana halves.
  • Once all the banana halves are coated in chocolate and nuts, return the baking sheet to the freezer for an additional 10-15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
  • Serve the chocolate covered bananas with crushed nuts as a delicious and healthy snack or dessert. Enjoy!
