Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 2 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Add the chicken strips to the marinade, making sure they are fully coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the oven to 175°F (80°C).
- Place the marinated chicken strips on a wire rack set over a baking sheet, making sure they are not touching each other.
- Bake the chicken strips for 2-3 hours, or until they are dried and firm, but still chewy. Check on them occasionally and flip the strips halfway through the cooking time.
- Once done, allow the chicken jerky to cool completely before storing in an airtight container. Enjoy as a healthy snack!
