Instructions

  • In a shallow dish, combine 1 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of paprika.
  • In another shallow dish, whisk together 2 eggs and 1/4 cup of milk.
  • Dredge each cube steak in the seasoned flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and coat again with the seasoned flour.
  • Heat 1 cup of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the coated steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each sandwich bun. Top with a lettuce leaf, a chicken fried steak, a tomato slice, and sliced pickles. Cover with the top half of the bun.
  • Serve the chicken fried steak sandwiches immediately and enjoy!
