  • While the chicken is simmering, prepare the dumplings. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk until just combined.
