  • Add 1/2 cup of granulated sugar to the skillet and stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is bubbling.
  • Carefully pour in 1/4 cup of cherry brandy and allow it to heat for a few seconds.
  • Add 4 cups of pitted cherries to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently, until the cherries are heated through and begin to release their juices.
  • Pour in 1/4 cup of orange juice and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, then carefully ignite the alcohol with a long match or lighter. Allow the flames to subside naturally.
  • Serve the Cherry Jubilee immediately over vanilla ice cream, if desired. Enjoy!
