Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup of caramel sauce
- 1 package of dark chocolate candy melts
- 24 cake pop sticks
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- Sprinkles or toppings of your choice
Instructions
- Bake the chocolate cake according to the instructions on the box. Allow it to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Add 1 cup of caramel sauce and mix until well combined.
- Using your hands, roll the cake mixture into 24 evenly sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to the package instructions. Stir in 1/4 cup of vegetable oil to thin out the chocolate for easier dipping.
- Dip the tip of each cake pop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert it into a cake ball. This will help the cake ball adhere to the stick.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the cake pops back onto the parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- While the chocolate is still wet, decorate the cake pops with sprinkles or toppings of your choice.
- Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving or storing the cake pops.
