Caramel Apple Bars with a Hint of Cinnamon

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of oats, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
- Stir in 1 cup of melted butter until the mixture is crumbly. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Spread the chopped apples over the crust. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
- Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the apples and caramel.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
