Instructions

  • Preheat the campfire to medium heat.
  • Leaving the peel on, slice each banana lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through.
  • Stuff each banana with 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of mini marshmallows. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
  • Wrap each banana in aluminum foil, making sure to seal the edges tightly.
  • Place the foil-wrapped bananas on the campfire grill and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the chocolate and marshmallows are melted and the bananas are soft.
  • Carefully remove the foil-wrapped bananas from the campfire using tongs and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Unwrap the bananas and enjoy the gooey, delicious treat straight from the peel with a spoon.
