Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 cup of hot sauce
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup of shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup of blue cheese dressing
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, mix 1 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of hot sauce and 1/4 cup of melted butter. Brush the buffalo sauce onto each chicken breast.
- Toast the hamburger buns in a toaster or on a skillet until lightly browned.
- Assemble the sandwiches by placing a buffalo chicken breast on the bottom half of each bun. Top with shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, and a drizzle of blue cheese dressing.
