Instructions

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Add 1 pound of sliced carrots to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt over the carrots. Stir to combine and coat the carrots evenly with the sugar mixture.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of water into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and the liquid has reduced to a glaze, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the lid and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens and coats the carrots.
  • Transfer the glazed carrots to a serving dish and serve hot. Enjoy!
