Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 4 pork feet, cleaned and trimmed
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2-3 dried red chilies
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and chicken broth. Add the pork feet and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the pork feet are tender.
- In a small saucepan, combine the dried red chilies and honey. Heat over low heat for 5-7 minutes to infuse the honey with the spice. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Slowly pour the slurry into the pot with the pork feet, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- Preheat the broiler. Place the braised pork feet on a baking sheet and brush with the spicy chili glaze. Broil for 3-5 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized and bubbly.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy the spicy braised pork feet!
