Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook 6 slices of bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  • Toast 4 slices of bread until golden brown.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place 1 large leaf of lettuce on 2 slices of bread. Top with 3 slices of crispy bacon and 2-3 slices of tomato. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Top with the remaining 2 slices of bread, mayonnaise side down, to form 2 sandwiches.
  • Slice each sandwich in half diagonally and serve immediately.
