  • Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 1-2 minutes to soften the chocolate.
  • Gently stir the mixture until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  • Add 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt to the chocolate mixture. Stir until the butter is melted and all ingredients are well combined.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to scoop.
  • Using a small cookie scoop or a spoon, scoop out small portions of the chocolate mixture and roll them into 1-inch balls. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt over each truffle.
