Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mix-ins (chocolate chips, cookie dough, nuts, etc.)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 cup of whole milk, and 3/4 cup of granulated sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 25-30 minutes, or until the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- During the last few minutes of churning, add 1/2 cup of your favorite mix-ins, such as chocolate chips, cookie dough, or nuts.
- Transfer the churned ice cream to airtight pint containers and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Scoop and enjoy your homemade Ben & Jerry's ice cream straight from the pint!
