Created by: Howcan Team

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape them into burger patties.
  • Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
  • While the burgers are cooking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.
  • In a small bowl, mix the BBQ sauce and mayonnaise to create the BBQ mayo sauce.
  • To assemble the burgers, spread the BBQ mayo sauce on the bottom half of each hamburger bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, followed by a burger patty with melted cheddar cheese. Add 2 slices of bacon, a slice of tomato, and a few slices of red onion. Top with the other half of the hamburger bun.
  • Serve the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burgers with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
