Ingredients
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup of chopped onions
- 1/4 cup of chopped bell peppers
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces of cooked and chopped crab meat
- Lettuce and tomato for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, 1/4 cup of chopped onions, and 1/4 cup of chopped bell peppers. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Form the mixture into 4 burger patties.
- In a separate bowl, mix 1/4 cup of mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard to create the sauce.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
