Instructions

  • In a separate bowl, mix 1 1/4 cups of buttermilk, 2 mashed ripe bananas, 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts, 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, 2 large eggs, 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
