Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 lemon, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup honey, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons olive oil, and 2 cloves minced garlic to make the honey mustard glaze.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the honey mustard glaze over them. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In another small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup softened unsalted butter and 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill to make the dill butter. Set aside.
- Remove the marinated salmon fillets from the refrigerator and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the oven and top each fillet with a dollop of the dill butter. Allow the butter to melt and coat the salmon.
