Ingredients
- 1 (8-10 pound) fully cooked ham
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
- Score the ham with a sharp knife in a diamond pattern.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup Dijon mustard, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup honey, and 1 teaspoon ground cloves to create a glaze.
- Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan and brush the glaze over the entire surface of the ham.
- Cover the ham with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 1 hour, basting the ham with the pan juices every 15 minutes.
- Once the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140 degrees F, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
- Serve and enjoy!
