Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Using a sharp knife, carefully slice each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket for the asparagus. Be careful not to cut all the way through.
- Season the inside of each chicken breast with 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of paprika, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of black pepper.
- Place 4-5 asparagus spears inside each chicken breast pocket.
- Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each stuffed chicken breast, securing the bacon with toothpicks if needed.
- Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the stuffed chicken breasts and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the bacon is slightly crispy.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
