Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Using a sharp knife, carefully slice each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket for the asparagus. Be careful not to cut all the way through.
  • Season the inside of each chicken breast with 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of paprika, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of black pepper.
  • Place 4-5 asparagus spears inside each chicken breast pocket.
  • Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each stuffed chicken breast, securing the bacon with toothpicks if needed.
  • Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the stuffed chicken breasts and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the bacon is slightly crispy.
